President's Message
I hope you have all had a pleasant Easter break and that the Easter Bunny delivered some nice goodies.
It was a thrill to induct Nick Ikonomou last week. I am sure Nick will be a valued member of our Club and we welcome him with open arms. We seem to have some momentum up with new members and it is very pleasing to reach 60 active and 1 honorary member.

It was great to have 37 members and guests attend last week on the eve of Easter. I am sure that they all came along to hear David Laws' excellent "Rotarian Behind the Badge". It was very enlightening and informative - he has lived a very interesting and successful life thus far. Thanks David!

As we enter the last quarter of the Rotary year our contribution to the Rotary Foundation is looking a bit sick so I encourage you all to consider a tax deductible donation to this wonderful scheme.

Thanks to Graham Miles we have a Footy Tipping competition this year and half of the profits will go to Foundation so although you may have missed the first round, please sign up and enter before round 2 - it is only $2 per week. To join simply follow secretary Ann's email of 24th March and good luck.

Have a good week,

President David

President David looks forward to a very special evening assisted by Ian (Twiggy) Thomas, a key part of the Aquabox team, as chair and Trevor Williams as finemaster.  Should be a top evening tho' a fair bit to get thru on Thursday so best we keep Directors reports brief.
