The DVCS Food Collective is managed by Diamond Valley Community Support. It is a collective of local service delivery partners and donation partners, community organisations and individuals working together, initially for the Coronavirus crisis period, to address food security challenges for vulnerable and disadvantaged community members in the Diamond Valley Region. This is done by sourcing and supplying basic non-perishable food parcels of everyday necessities to those who are experiencing financial crisis and needing emergency relief assistance. The DVCS Food Collective relies on volunteers to create pre-packed parcels and distribute these, and other volunteers to deliver to those more isolated community members. The DVCS Food Collective also fundraises to subsidise the cost of purchasing food, like key staples, to make sure these products are available more consistently.

On the 9th of June 2020, the Rotary Club of Eltham's Community Service director, Paul Kelly (below) presented Kerri Wellington from the DVCS Food Collective with a donation cheque for $5000 from the Club to assist them in continuing to provide this vital service.
